David A. Godleski, SJ, was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI.  After completing a Ph. D. in Applied Mathematics at Northwestern University, he entered the Society of Jesus in 1988 and was ordained a Jesuit priest in 1998.   Fr. Dave has served as vocation director, worked in Campus Ministry/Mission and Identity at Loyola University Chicago (LUC), coordinated the Spiritual Exercises in Everyday Life at LUC and worked for the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States in Washington, DC as the Delegate for Formation and Jesuit Life.   He currently is minister and treasurer for the Jesuit Community at LUC but will return to DC in the Fall of 2024 to become the Treasurer for the Jesuit Conference.
