Subject: New leadership of CLC in USA's Integral Ecology Working Group!
Dear Friends,
This brief note is to let leadership know that our USA's Integral Ecology Working Group (one of the discerned 'Frontiers' or focused priorities for mission) has new Co-Chairs: Dan Scheid & Suwan Kim!!
Suwan has been a member of this working group for a few years and Dan has been co-chair with Carol Gonzalez, so the transition will be smooth and offer a continuity along with fresh, next generational leadership.
Carol will continue to serve on CLC's N. American Ecology Network and CVX-CLC's International Ecology Working Group (formerly Integral Ecology Commission), as well as on the CVX-CLC N. America Region team.
What is still much needed is a Coordinator for CLC's Office of Apostolic Action & Advocacy to bring the Frontier Chairs from the five working groups (ie Family, Young Adults, Global Poverty, IEWG & a rep from Ignatian Spirituality/Formation) together 3-4 times a year to discern, support & plan for effective communications through the Frontier Newsletters and other means of empowering our national members as CLC on mission in the world.
Keep Suwan and Dan in your prayer, as we hold all CLC leaders in prayer with gratitude for their generous service to our national CLC family.
